Liesbeth Henderickx (°1991, BE) lives and works in Ghent. Her practice is grounded in sculpture—a medium through which she examines how built environments, with their forms, materials, gestures, and representations, shape our daily lives. Through the careful translation and interplay of materials at different scales and textures, her sculptural work seeks to illuminate the relationships between space and architecture, object and body.

Each material she engages with opens up new ways of working—intuitive, tactile, and deeply embodied. The making process becomes a quiet choreography, a form of material thinking, with its gestures and decisions still legible in the final work.
